iConnectivity announces agreement with Yamaha

iConnectivity™ Supports Yamaha's USB Connected Controllers with its iConnectMIDI™ and Other Products

Anaheim, Calif. - January 19, 2012 - iConnectivity™, forward thinking developer of hardware accessories and applications for iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad®, are proud to announce that Yamaha has agreed to allow iConnectivity™ to implement Yamaha's proprietary protocol for USB MIDI.

Through this agreement, iConnectMIDI™ - an enhanced MIDI interface that unites MIDI instruments, computers, and iOS (or mobile) devices at the same time - can now support Yamaha USB connected controllers, including Clavinova and Motif.

iConnectMIDI™ is designed to support MIDI protocols with the standard 5-pin DIN connectors, USB device ports to connect to either iOS devices or computers (Mac / PC) and a USB Type A Host port designed to support standard USB MIDI 1.0 protocol. Now, any Yamaha keyboard and synthesizer products can connect via USB with iConnectMIDI™.
