iConnectMIDI2+ - Feature Overview
iConnectMIDI2+ support two computing devices simultaneously – Macs, PCs, and iOS. iConnectivity's Audio passThru™ technology allows you to route audio between them digitally with zero signal degradation, simply appearing as an audio interface to the operating systems. The interface includes iConfig (supported on Mac, PC, and iOS), which gives you complete control over how MIDI is routed, remapped and filtered to and from all devices connected. Wether your just getting into MIDI, or looking to integrate your iOS apps into your studio setup, iConnectMIDI2+ is ready for whatever you throw at it.

Device Ports
Two device ports allow the connection of OSX, iOS, and Windows based systems in order to pass audio and MIDI back and forth simultaneously. Using the included iConnectivity 30-pin or Lightning inline connection cable, you can connect your iOS devices to your favorite DAW – using your app just like a plug-in or external processor. With iConnectivity’s ‘Audio passThru’ technology, the iConnectMIDI2+ shows up like a sound card with inputs and outputs – allowing audio routing to a Mac, PC, or iOS device.
2X2 MIDI I/O
The 2X2 MIDI I/O allows the integration of current and classic MIDI enables hardware. All of the computing devices connected to the device ports have access to these MIDI Din ports.
MIDI Activity LEDs
The front panel features LEDs that show MIDI activity from the MIDI DIN ports and the Device Ports.
iConfig
iConnectivity’s iConfig allows the control of advanced routing. This application can be downloaded on your PC, Mac, or iOS devices. The app allows you to set up MIDI thru’s, MIDI merging, as well as the filtering of MIDI devices and destinations. Since we are dealing with the audio of multiple computing devices, iConfig allows you to choose which device is the master clock source. All of these setting can be saved and recalled at any time.
Standalone Mode
One of the coolest features of the iConnectMIDI2+ is being able to run your custom MIDI routing without a computer. Any customization made in iConfig will be recalled when your iConnectMIDI2+ is powered on. This allows your 2X2 MIDI DIN to be accessible for live performances.
